querra asesinar a los miembros de su propia familia lo ocurrido en broken arrow oklahoma en el ao 2015 es uno de los peores casos registrados no solo a nivel estatal sino en todos los estados unidos' los perpetradores de la matanza seran dos hermanos de 16 y 18 aos completamente obsesionados con los asesinos en serie y los asesinos en masa [Msica] broken arrow es una pacfica ciudad ubicada al noreste de oklahoma en los eeuu con poco ms de 98 mil habitantes se ha caracterizado por ser uno de los lugares ms seguros del pas registrando apenas 1 o 2 homicidios al ao sin embargo los eventos ocurridos el 22 de julio del ao 2015 amenazaron con destrozar dicha reputacin eran las 23 horas con 33 minutos cuando una inquietante llamada fue recibida por una operadora del 911 en ella un menor de edad peda ayuda y aseguraba que uno de sus hermanos estaba atacando a su familia la direccin era el 709 de magnolia court ubicado en un agradable barrio residencial de pronto se escuch un ruido y el nio comenz a llorar cuando la comunicacin finalmente se cort [Msica] pero no hay manual [Msica] ah ah la idea [Msica] el sbado antes de la interrupcin se pudo or la voz de otro joven cerca del telfono diciendo hola a los pocos minutos un par de agentes se present en el lugar en la entrada de la casa vieron un enorme charco de sangre que de inmediato los puso en alerta llamaron a la puerta y escucharon unos leves quejidos desde dentro por lo que decidieron derribar la de inmediato en el interior encontraron a una menor que yaca en el piso degollada y con los intestinos fuera del abdomen pero consciente adems tena varias heridas defensivas en manos y brazos crystal beber de 13 aos fue llevada rpidamente al exterior de la vivienda pues los policas escucharon algunos ruidos sospechosos dentro de la casa antes de que volvieran a ingresar para realizar un registro completo la chica les dijo que haba sido apualada por sus dos hermanos mayores y que tambin haban atacado a sus padres y hermanos en uno de los salones se encontraron los cadveres de david y april beber de 52 y 44 aos respectivamente davis el padre de familia haba recibido 28 heridas de arma blanca en el pecho cuello y rostro april su esposa recibi 48 pualadas en el rostro cuello y torso adems de un golpe en la cabeza con un objeto contundente los agentes no tuvieron tiempo de comprobar si seguan con vida por lo que los arrastraron rpidamente al exterior ya que teman que los atacantes siguieran rondando por la enorme casona posteriormente llegaron hasta uno de los baos del corredor y abrieron la puerta en el interior encontraran otros dos cadveres esta vez se trataba de los hermanos christopher y victoria beber de siete y cinco aos de edad christopher recibi seis pualadas y victoria 18 todas stas dirigidas al cuello pecho y espalda de las vctimas [Msica] los oficiales hicieron ingreso a otro cuarto de la primera planta en donde encontraron a daniel beber de 12 aos asesinado de 9 pualadas en el pecho y la espalda en una de las habitaciones del segundo piso una menor de dos aos identificada como auto en beber fue encontrada durmiendo en una cama completamente ilesa en total cinco miembros de la familia beber fueron asesinados de forma espantosa los oficiales estaban consternados tras el impactante hallazgo mientras cristal era llevada de urgencia a un hospital varios policas salieron tras los dos sospechosos quienes seran identificados como robert y mickael beber de 18 y 16 aos respectivamente los primeros agentes que se presentaron en la escena escucharon ruidos y detectaron movimientos extraos en la parte posterior del inmueble decidieron dar prioridad a las vctimas y solicitaron rpidamente refuerzos cerca de las 0.30 horas ambos jvenes seran detenidos por una unidad de rastreo en un rea boscosa ubicada tras la vivienda uno de ellos se entreg sin oponer resistencia se les acerc con las manos en alto cuando fue descubierto y le pidieron que se entregara el otro intent huir pero fue alcanzado por uno de los perros polica que le mordi un hombro y le destroz la camiseta sin embargo tras el arresto no parecan demasiado nerviosos los dos muchachos estaban cubiertos de lodo sangre e incluso trozos de carne de sus vctimas robert el mayor no paraba de sonrer como si estuviera orgulloso de haber masacrado a su familia por otro lado los agentes aseguraron que michael ms que asustado pareca estar molesto los dos seran fotografiados como parte del procedimiento policial dejando un par de postales realmente espeluznantes a ambos hermanos fueron llevados inmediatamente al departamento de polica en donde seran interrogados la enorme presencia de patrullas de ambulancias haba despertado la curiosidad de los vecinos tambin varios periodistas fotgrafos y camargrafos se ubicaron a las afueras del domicilio que ya haba sido acordonado resultaba evidente que algo terrible haba ocurrido las pesquisas en la casona de la familia beber continuaron por varias horas las armas homicidas un enorme cuchillo y un hacha de mano fueron encontradas en el lugar aunque tambin se report que la habitacin que compartan los sospechosos se hallaron otras armas blancas y partes de armaduras similares a las utilizadas por los equipos antidisturbios de la polica al momento de ser detenidos robert beber llevaba consigo un chaleco antibalas mientras que michael se lo haba quitado a perpetrar semejante masacre los bebs eran una numerosa familia de clase media-alta compuesta por un total de nueve miembros los dos padres y sus siete hijos varios residentes del sector aseguraron que parecan una familia tranquila aunque no demasiado sociable deivid beber trabajaba para el departamento de tecnologa de una empresa llamada samsung resource sus compaeros de trabajo no describan como un sujeto silencioso pero trabajador competente y agradable su esposa april era una ama de casa aunque pasaba la mayor parte del da educando a sus hijos pues el matrimonio haba decidido que no asistiran la escuelas privadas o pblicas despus de que robert el hijo mayor fuese vctima de acoso sexual en su colegio cuando an era un preadolescente los siete hermanos permanecan prcticamente todo el da encerrados en casa estudiando o conectados a sus aparatos electrnicos en sus tiempos libres no se les permita salir de casa ni tampoco tener amigos y si bien algunos vecinos los vieron jugando en el patio trasero de vez en cuando no compartan con ninguno de los otros chicos del vecindario e incluso se escondan cuando se sentan observados lo cual era un comportamiento bastante extrao todo lo que ocurra en el interior de la residencia de la familia beber era un verdadero misterio los primeros interrogatorios realizados a los dos sospechosos fueron relativamente esclarecedor es robert beber el mayor de los hermanos no tuvo reparos en confesar su responsabilidad en todos los asesinatos de los cuales pareca sentirse especialmente orgulloso sin embargo su verdadero plan no se haba concretado pues tena en mente matar entre 50 y 500 personas en un tiroteo masivo para ello haba comprado por internet un par de armaduras corporales guantes cascos cuchillos y chalecos antibala para l y su hermano mayor llevaba un par de meses en un trabajo de medio tiempo y uso todos sus ahorros para llevar a cabo la matanza los padres de robert estaban al tanto de las compras que estaba realizando su hijo pero crean que simplemente estaba juntando artculos militares a modo de coleccionismo algo que si bien puede resultar extravagante en realidad es bastante comn lo que no saban era que adems haban cargado por ebay dos pistolas glock una escopeta y ms de tres mil rondas de municin aunque stas llegaran a casa el da 23 de julio para evitar que sus padres lo descubrieran robert decidi asesinar los la noche anterior posteriormente tomara el coche de su padre y conducira hasta el estado de washington en donde junto a su hermano cometeran varios asesinatos durante el trayecto para concluir con un gran tiroteo masivo el cual llevaban planeando durante ms de un ao manifest una gran admiracin por varios asesinos en serie y asesinos en masa sobre los cuales haba investigado en diversos portales de internet aunque su mayor inspiracin pareca ser james holmes conocido tambin como el joker de aurora eric harris y dylan klebold quera ser como ellos volverse un asesino famoso y superarlos en cantidad de vctimas segn sus propias palabras la sociedad no tena sentido y asesinar personas lo convertira en una especie de dios [Msica] tras el allanamiento de la casa de la familia beber los investigadores encontraron una libreta que robert ocultaba bajo su cama en ella describa todo lo que tena en mente incluyendo fechas armas a utilizar y los mtodos de asesinato de su propia familia informacin que tambin haba respaldado en una memoria usb adems haba ideado grabar un par de vdeos junto a los cadveres de su familia y subirlos a internet algunos especialistas robert beber pareca ser un sdico y retorcido psicpata con trastorno narcisista de la personalidad sin embargo otros crean que tena algunos rasgos de tipo esquizofrnico algo que podra incluso jugarle a favor en un eventual juicio el perfil de michael beber por otro lado result ser un verdadero enigma el doctor jason bay man psiquiatra del departamento forense de tulsa asegur que las entrevistas lo dejaron con ms dudas que respuestas y no consigui identificar trastornos de la personalidad o enfermedades mentales en el menor mayor bsicamente respaldo gran parte de la historia de su hermano y reconoci haber sido el responsable de los asesinatos de christopher y victoria los dos pequeos encontrados en el cuarto de bao tambin confes que parte del plan era descuartizar todos los cadveres meterlos en cajas de plstico y esconderlos en el tico antes de huir de casa michael le dijo a la gente que lo interrog que robert quera decapitar a su hermana de dos aos pero la presencia de la polica que tard poco ms heridas pudo contar su versin a la polica eran cerca de las 23 30 horas del 22 de julio del ao 2015 varios de los miembros de la familia beber an se encontraban en pie cuando michael se acerc a su hermana cristal que estaba en la sala de estar y le dijo que quera ensearle algo en su computadora la chica lo acompa hasta otra habitacin en donde tambin se encontraba su hermano mayor robert algo que le llam la atencin es que ambos tenan puestos los chalecos antibalas pero pens que simplemente se los estaban probando se dispuso a observar la pantalla cuando robert se par detrs de ella le tap la boca con una mano y la degoll con un enorme cuchillo al ver la sangre comenz a gritar e intent defenderse pero robert pudo apualada varias veces en el abdomen y los brazos finalmente la chica escap y alert a su familia mientras su madre corra a ver que estaba ocurriendo intent detener a su hijo pero ste la apual en el cuello rostro y pecho hasta matarla vista que estaba gravemente herida consigui salir de la casa en busca de ayuda pero se desplom a pocos metros de la entrada robert y micro corrieron tras ella y la arrastraron dentro de la vivienda dejando el reguero de sangre que minutos ms tarde sera descubierto por los primeros agentes que llegaron al lugar tras el alboroto inicial christopher y victoria de siete y cinco aos de edad se encerraron en el bao poco despus michael golpe la puerta y les pidi que lo dejaran entrar los nios pensaron que tambin estaba huyendo de robert pero al abrir la puerta ste los asesin con un cuchillo davis el padre de familia baj las escaleras al escuchar los ruidos pero fue sorprendido por robert que lo apual hasta la muerte al mismo tiempo danger de 12 aos se haba encerrado en el estudio de su padre y fue quien realiz la llamada al 911 mientras lo haca escucho la voz de michael al otro lado del pasillo el cual le peda que lo dejara entrar fue engaado al igual que christopher y victoria al abrir la puerta maikel entr junto a robert y este ltimo comenz a apualarlo [Msica] posteriormente se acercaron a cristal que estaba tendida en el piso de la cocina y robert intent estrangularla pero las luces del coche de polica que se present en el lugar los alert y decidieron huir por la puerta trasera el 31 de julio robert de michael beber fueron acusados formalmente de cinco cargos de asesinato en primer grado y un cargo de agresin con arma mortal sin embargo se declararan inocentes de todos los cargos por un lado el abogado de robert aseguraba que su defendido padeca de enajenacin mental en el momento del crimen y que haba sufrido abusos fsicos y psicolgicos por parte de sus padres la defensa de michael a su vez present una mocin para que fuese juzgado como un menor de edad pues das antes se les advirti que debido a la gravedad del crimen sera procesado como un adulto segn la ley estatal de oklahoma finalmente la mocin sera denegada casi un ao ms tarde el 6 de julio del ao 2016 se filtr la noticia de que pocas semanas antes robert beber haba intentado suicidarse dentro de su celda pero fue descubierto por los guardias mientras se anudaba una sbana alrededor del cuello fue derivado durante un tiempo al ala psiquitrica del penal pues haba sido diagnosticado con depresin trastorno postraumtico y psicosis algunos especialistas crean que adems sufra de trastorno lmite de la personalidad autismo y esquizofrenia finalmente el 7 de septiembre del ao 2016 se llega a un acuerdo de culpabilidad por parte de la defensa de robert beber para evitar la pena de muerte se declar culpable y recibi cinco cadenas perpetuas sin opcin de libertad condicional por los cargos de asesinato en primer grado y una cadena perpetua simple por el intento de asesinato de su hermana cristal sera enviado al centro correccional josep heart en el condado de cleveland el juicio contra michaele beber sera aplazado hasta abril del ao 2018 y el 9 de agosto sera encontrado culpable de todos los cargos condenado a cumplir cinco cadenas perpetuas y derivado al centro correccional de lexington aunque la decisin no estuvo exenta de polmica mientras michael estuvo encerrado en la crcel del condado de tulsa se le incaut un diario en donde realiz una serie de dibujos que fueron presentados ante el jurado en ellos se mostraba como junto a su hermano haba asesinado a su familia bsicamente porque la odiaba tambin se incluan algunas caricaturas de personajes nefastos de los cuales se declaraba admirador como el lder sectario jim jones o el asesino de masas james holmes adems de otras frases que hacan referencia al nazismo y el satanismo sin embargo el nivel de las ilustraciones despert varias sospechas con respecto a la madurez y capacidad intelectual del acusado no parecan corresponder a las de un chico de su edad aquello no lo exculpa va de sus crmenes pero quiz era una evidencia de que efectivamente padeca alguna enfermedad mental o deficiencia que no pudo ser detectada por los especialistas durante el juicio cristal testific contra sus dos hermanos a travs de una pantalla de televisin cont su traumtica experiencia emocionando hasta las lgrimas al jurado robert beber que ya se encontraba cumpliendo sentencia tambin hizo acto de presencia durante el proceso segn sus propias confesiones haba comenzado a fantasear con asesinar a su familia a la edad de 13 aos en cierto punto descubri que al igual que l su hermano michael estaba fascinado con los asesinos en serie y asesinos en masa como ambos compartan habitacin durante las noches buscaban todo tipo de informacin sobre el tema en internet hasta que se obsesionaron por completo y robert convenci a michael de llevar a cabo aquellas fantasas como no iban a la escuela rara vez salan de casa y no tenan amigos se la pasaban gran parte del da juntos realizando vdeos humorsticos que suban a un canal de youtube y roberts se grababa a s mismo hablando sobre videojuegos pero bajo esa aparente normalidad exista una enorme rencor hacia su familia durante el juicio robert te aseguro que sus padres eran extremadamente exigentes con ellos y que constantemente les decan que tenan que ser mejores dijo que en una ocasin su padre lo golpe con un zapato en el rostro mientras jugaban bsquetbol en el patio de la casa despus de que ambos tropezaron y cayeron al piso tambin afirm que una vez golpe y sacudi a michael por que tartamudeaba y le dijo que si no hablaba bien mejor que se quedara callado por lo visto ste padeca dislexia y tena problemas de lenguaje lo que enfureca a su padre todo esto sera confirmado por su hermana cristal con respecto a l la madre aseguraron que comparta con nios cuando les entregaba las lecciones diarias aunque la mayor parte del tiempo se la pasaba encerrada en su estudio sentaba a sus hijos frente a la computadora e ingresaba a sitios webs en donde haba actividades que deban resolver por s mismos tambin se pudo comprobar que varios das a la semana los hermanos beber se alimentaban bsicamente de fideos ramen y piezas de pan con mantequilla de man es posible que la desidia de los padres provocar ira y deseos de venganza en ambos jvenes el hecho de mantenerse completamente aislados de su medio tambin pudo haber influido durante los interrogatorios psiquiatras e incluso agentes de polica aseguraron que parecan algo confundidos o no saban tratar con adultos nada de esto justifica la reaccin desmesurada de robert y michael ni tampoco explica por qu asesinaron tambin a sus hermanos el 15 de julio del ao 2019 robert intent atacar a dos miembros del personal del centro correccional de heart con un instrumento afilado fue reducido y llevado nuevamente a juicio en donde el juez del condado de cleveland le sumo otras tres cadenas perpetuas robert a da de hoy tiene unos 25 aos y ha sido catalogado como un reo sumamente peligroso e impredecible en junio del ao 2020 se confirm que michael beber deber cumplir todas sus condenas a pesar de que el mismo jurado no estaba de acuerdo con el fallo debido principalmente a la edad del acusado en el momento de los asesinatos es muy probable que ambos hermanos pasen el resto de sus das tras las rejas tanto cristal como su hermana alterna fueron adoptadas por una familia de tulsa poco despus de la matanza al menos para ellas si hay una esperanza los horribles crmenes cometidos por robert y michael berg
